May 15, 2018 · My asylum-based I-485 green card application was transferred National Benefits Center in Missouri. I'm pretty worried as some people say this usually means that USCIS will have me for an interview. However, I thought as the primary asylee, my I-485 application should not need an interview. My I-485 (EB1) application has been transferred from Texas to National Benefits Center (NBC) 3 weeks back. It has not moved since then, also NBC doesn't list in USCIS case processing times webpage for I-485 applications. I would appreciate if you could share information about current processing time.
